SAIA Awards Sponsor Application 2024

(1) SAIA reserves the right to review and accept or decline any Application to Sponsor in its absolute discretion. (2) A letter of confirmation will be provided to confirm acceptance of the Application to Sponsor together with a Tax Invoice for the required Sponsorship Amount. Full payment of the Sponsorship Amount (including GST) is required 30 days from the date of the Tax Invoice. Cheques should be made payable to South Australian Italian Association (SAIA). (3) No Sponsor will be allowed to be promoted as such until full payment and a signed Application to Sponsor form has been received. (4) If payment of the Sponsorship Amount is not received in full and on time, SAIA reserves the right to cancel the Sponsorship. (5) In consideration for payment of the relevant Sponsorship Amount, SAIA will provide the relevant promotional activities in respect of the Sponsor in accordance with the relevant Sponsorship Package. (6) A Sponsor must promptly provide all information reasonably requested by SAIA from time to time and the Sponsor grants SAIA a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty free licence to use the Sponsor’s nominated trade mark for the purpose of marketing the SAIA Awards and related activities. (7) The Sponsor acknowledges that SAIA does not guarantee any commercial or financial outcome by becoming a sponsor of the SAIA Awards other than as expressly stated in these terms. (8) Subject to clause 9, if the SAIA Awards is cancelled for any reason (i) before 1 September 2024, SAIA will refund an amount equal to 50% of the Sponsorship Amount paid by the Sponsor; and (ii) after 1 September 2024, SAIA will refund an amount equal to 25% of the Sponsorship Amount paid by the Sponsor. (9) SAIA may immediately cancel the Sponsorship by written notice to the Sponsor where SAIA, acting reasonably, determines the Sponsor (or its personnel) has acted in a manner that may bring SAIA or the SAIA Awards into a state of disrepute or otherwise damage the reputation of SAIA. In such circumstances, there will be no refund of the Sponsorship Amount. (10) The liability of each party in respect of the Sponsorship is limited, in the aggregate, to an amount equal to the relevant value of the Sponsorship Amount paid by the Sponsor. (11) The Sponsor shall not assign, transfer, sublet, or apportion the whole or any part of their Sponsorship except upon prior written consent of SAIA.
